In the quiz you answer knowledge questions from various subject areas – from geography through history and mythology to science and football.
Each question comes with four answer options, exactly one of which is correct. Tap the answer you think is right – the app shows you immediately whether you were correct. At the end of a level you get a summary with your result.
A level costs one ticket, unless you play it as the daily challenge. How tickets regenerate is explained under Tickets, streak & jokers.
The questions are sorted into categories, and each category consists of several levels that are unlocked one after another. That way you work your way from easier to harder questions within a topic, instead of getting everything mixed together.
For each category the app keeps track of how much of it you have already mastered. With every completed level you climb through four stages:
You can see the current stage right on the category – a good indicator of where more practice is still worthwhile.
If you get stuck on a question, the jokers help you out: the 50/50 joker removes two wrong answers, or alternatively you can skip a question. Both cost tickets.
Conversely, you are rewarded for a run of correct answers: the combo counter counts your correct answers in a row and gives you an extra ticket at 3, 5 and 7 correct answers. A wrong answer resets the combo to zero.
