Dienstplan is built for shift workers with changing working hours. In the weekly plan you enter your shifts – you set up fixed shift types such as early, late or night once with their own duration and simply pick them from then on. The dashboard shows you what matters right now at a glance: your next shift, the current month, your next vacation and your overtime balance per employer – you decide which cards you want to see.
At its core is automatic overtime calculation: from your weekly-hours profile, the public holidays of your state and your vacation, the app continuously works out the target-vs-actual comparison, so you never have to do the math yourself. Vacation is tracked as a running yearly account – unused days automatically carry over into the next year, optionally with an expiry date. Half-day vacation is possible too, and the app warns you if a vacation entry overlaps with a shift you already planned.
The same works for several employers at once, each with its own hourly wage, vacation entitlement and weekly-hours profile. The statistics show your worked hours by month, year or overall, and paid-out overtime is tracked separately. With Nearby-Sync you can also share your schedule directly from device to device with other Dienstplan users nearby – with no internet connection needed at all.
Your working hours are your business: they are stored exclusively on your device, there is no user account and no registration. To move to a new device or as a backup, you export your data as a JSON file and import it again on the new device. Nearby-Sync also runs directly between the devices – there is no server your schedules pass through.
