Scope

This privacy policy applies to our App for Medical Appointments, the Learn Game, the Timetracker app and our Dice app.
Our data protection declaration does not apply to linked websites and apps of other manufacturers. Please contact the respective providers for more information.

Google Play

We offer our mobile apps in Google Play. Please refer to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Use https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Advertising in our Apps

Our mobile apps use Google AdMob to display ads. Please review the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Use at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

In-app purchases

Our apps offer optional in-app purchases – currently the purchase of an ad-free experience as well as, in our Dice app, individually available games or features (currently Mia and the photo dice designer); in the future also voluntary support or donation contributions. Payment is processed exclusively via Google Play. We do not receive any payment data (such as credit card or bank account information) or your real name.

In order to verify a purchase and to provide the purchased feature (e.g. the permanent removal of advertising), we process and store purchase-related data on our own server: a purchase token issued by Google (purchaseToken), the product identifier, the order number, the purchase status and timestamps. If the app provides a pseudonymous user identifier, this is stored as well. For this purpose, our server communicates with the Google Play Developer API in order to acknowledge the purchase and keep its status (e.g. refunds) up to date.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (provision of the feature you purchased) as well as our legitimate interest in preventing misuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is stored for as long as necessary to provide the purchased feature; statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.

App Permissions

In order to be able to provide you with our full range of services in our mobile apps, the following rights must be granted for the doctor's appointment app, the learn game app, the Timetracker app and the Dice app:

Contact

If you contact us, we will process your personal data to the extent that it is necessary to answer your inquiry satisfactorily. In addition to your name, this may also include information on technical circumstances. You are also welcome to use a pseudonym for your enquiries.

Personal data

With the exception of the purchase-related data described in the section “In-app purchases”, we do not process any personal data when you use our services. Through the listing in Google Play and the use of the advertising platform Google AdMob, data is transferred to Google. To what extent, for what purpose and under what conditions can you please refer to the privacy statement and the terms of use of Google, which we have already linked in the relevant sections.

Further developments

We reserve the right to change this privacy statement without prior notice. This may be necessary, for example, due to functional extensions of our offer.
