Doctors

In the Doctors area you maintain your personal directory of doctors. Once added, they can be conveniently assigned to your Appointments.

Add a doctor

Add a new doctor via the plus button (+). You can record, among others:

Name of the practice or doctor
Field (e.g. general practitioner, dentist)
Address for the map view
Phone number and further contact details
the practice's consultation hours

You can also add a doctor directly while creating an appointment.

Call & location

Tap the stored phone number to call the practice directly.
Tap the address to open the location on the map.

Consultation hours

When you edit a doctor, the Consultation hours section lets you store as many time slots as you need – for example Mon–Fri 09:00–13:00 plus Tue, Thu 14:00–17:00. Use Add time slot to create a row, pick a start and an end, and tap the weekdays the slot applies to. The pencil icon edits an existing row, the bin icon removes it.

While a row is open, the app checks your input straight away: the end must be after the start, at least one weekday must be selected, and two slots must not overlap. Only then can you confirm the row with OK. Cancel discards just the current edit – nothing is deleted.

Below that there is room for a free-text note, such as by appointment only or acute cases 8–9 a.m. without an appointment.

Once consultation hours are stored, the doctor list and the doctor details show whether the practice is open right now or when it opens next. The same line appears on the reminder card on the home screen, so you can see before calling whether it is worth dialling. Without stored hours the line simply stays away.

The end of a time slot is no longer part of it. With 09:00–13:00 the practice is open at 12:59 and closed at 13:00 – just like a surgery that ends at 13:00. That is why you can put 09:00–13:00 and 13:00–17:00 right next to each other without them overlapping.

If you create an appointment outside those hours, the appointment form points it out below the time. It is only a hint: you can still save the appointment – practices do hand out appointments outside their open surgery.

Reminder date & reason

For each doctor you can set up a reminder that prompts you to make a new appointment.
From the set date onwards, the Reminder dashboard tile shows a corresponding message with the reason for the reminder, for example Schedule a check-up appointment. The doctor can be contacted directly via the stored phone number, and using ADD APPOINTMENT a pre-filled appointment form can be opened straight from the tile.

Edit, add appointment & delete

Use the pencil icon to edit a doctor, the plus icon to record another appointment for that doctor directly, and the trash icon to delete the doctor after a confirmation prompt.
